1. Rights That May Be Available

• Confirm whether personal data is processed and access or obtain information about it.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Delete qualifying personal data.
• Obtain a portable copy of qualifying data.
• Opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where the applicable law provides the right.
• Limit or consent to certain sensitive-data processing where required.
• Use an authorized agent or appeal certain request decisions where required.
• Exercise applicable rights without unlawful discrimination.

2. Applicability Is Determined by Current Facts

A state’s privacy law does not automatically apply to every business or every request. AutoUnite evaluates the consumer’s jurisdiction, statutory thresholds and exemptions, request type, verification requirements, deadlines, appeal rules, authorized-agent requirements, universal opt-out rules, sensitive-data rules, and other applicable overlays.

3. Global Privacy Control and Advertising Choices

The current AutoUnite control layer treats supported Global Privacy Control signals as an advertising-suppression signal. Some jurisdictions may require additional treatment of universal opt-out signals or state-specific notices.

4. Verification, Authorized Agents, and Appeals

Verification is proportionate to the request and risk. AutoUnite generally prefers authenticated-account or email-possession verification before requesting more sensitive identity information. Authorized-agent requests may require evidence of authority. Appeal rights and regulator contact information are provided when applicable.

5. Dealers and Other Independent Recipients

AutoUnite can act on records it controls. When you direct information to an independent dealer or another third party, that recipient may separately control its copy. AutoUnite does not promise deletion or correction in an independent system it cannot legally or technically control.

6. Special Data and Narrower State Laws

State law can impose duties beyond general comprehensive privacy statutes, including rules involving consumer health data, biometrics, precise location, minors, data brokers, tracking or interception, communications, and security breaches. AutoUnite reviews those issues separately when a feature or data flow triggers them.

7. Submit a Request

Use Privacy Requests to submit access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, appeal, authorized-agent, or other privacy requests supported for your circumstances.
