YOUR VEHICLE
Choose the vehicle for this estimate
We'll use available vehicle details to help with this estimate. Prices, financing or lease terms, taxes, fees, and offers still need to be confirmed.
START HEREStart with what you know.
Start with the vehicle price. Add or confirm only incentive amounts and eligibility facts you actually know; unknown program eligibility stays unknown.
Estimate only. Incentive availability and shopper eligibility are not assumed. The general federal clean-vehicle credit path is closed for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025. Disclosures · Help
UNDERSTAND THE ESTIMATE
How the EV Incentives & Tax Credit Calculator works
Model EV incentive amounts without blending government programs with manufacturer rebates or assuming that a vehicle or shopper qualifies. AutoUnite keeps each incentive source distinct and requires the facts that control whether an entered amount can be used.
What you need to get started
This calculator uses the following inputs to build an estimate. Check your own agreement or quote when a rate, fee, or contract value is required.
Vehicle Price
You can also refine your scenario with information such as Acquisition Date (YYYYMMDD), Federal Credit Amount (legacy path only), State Incentive, Local Incentive, Utility Incentive, Manufacturer Rebate. Enter details only when known; an unknown fee, rate, or benefit is not automatically zero.
How the estimate is built
Enter the vehicle price for the scenario.
Add the acquisition date when evaluating the legacy federal clean-vehicle credit path.
Enter federal, state, local, utility, and manufacturer amounts separately only when they are known or confirmed.
Review the included total as a scenario estimate; program availability, residency, income, purchase, lease, and tax eligibility remain separate determinations.
Example
For a vehicle acquired on September 30, 2025, an entered federal amount can be modeled through the legacy date path when the shopper has the required supporting eligibility facts. For an acquisition on October 1, 2025, AutoUnite will not apply that general federal clean-vehicle amount.
Common EV incentives and rebates questions
Is the general federal clean-vehicle credit still available for a vehicle acquired in 2026?
No. IRS guidance states that the new, previously owned, and qualified commercial clean-vehicle credits are not available for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025.
Does a qualifying vehicle mean I personally qualify for an incentive?
No. Vehicle identity alone does not establish income, residency, tax, purchase, lease, or other shopper eligibility.
Are manufacturer rebates treated as government incentives?
No. Manufacturer rebates remain a separate field and are not merged into federal, state, local, or utility incentive amounts.
Can AutoUnite use my prior search location as incentive eligibility location?
Not automatically. A search location must be confirmed when a registration or eligibility location is required.
Will AutoUnite look up incentives when the page loads?
No. AutoUnite checks external incentive sources only when you ask, and a source failure never becomes a $0 incentive.
